EDC- Practical Application
This course was designed using lessons learned from several years of overseas deployments. We will discuss the mindset of CCW and all of its considerations (I.E. Situational Awareness, Pattern of Life, Environmental Culture).
We will cover garment defeat, drawing of your weapon, defensive & offensive techniques, retention shooting & moving off the X. Each drill will build on the last with every fundamental being driven home. The course is information and content heavy with a fast paced teaching environment.
We will have a layout of all EDC items brought to class. Students are HIGHLY encouraged to bring their EDC, and any items they have questions about. (This includes vehicle EDC, Digital EDC, Bug-out Bags etc.)
This course will be a full 8-hour day with breaks in between and an allotted lunch break.
NOTE: Limited size class for maximum individual attention
Course Prerequisites:
Be legally allowed to carry a firearm in the state of North Carolina w/CCW
Successful Completion of Pistol 1 or 2 (Some exceptions will be made on a case by case basis)

Eye protection (ANSI Z87.1)/ Ear protection (Digital Recommended)
Pistol w/ Holster (Tactical Holster -Kydex drop leg, IWB, or OWB belt holster)
2-5 magazines w/ pouches
50 rounds minimum
Cleaning Kit
Inclement Weather Gear (NO WEATHER CANCELLATIONS, bad weather is an excellent opportunity to collect data and test your gear for less than ideal conditions)
Course Location: North Carolina (RDU/Winston-Salem Areas)
Course time: 9am - 5pm
