Survival Preparedness Family Day Camp
Experience has taught us that exploring and conducting off-trail learning is absolutely the best way to learn life-saving survival skills. Catching frogs and snakes, bugs and worms, having fun with new friends, and building on personal relationships is a recipe for a lifetime of GREAT memories.
Join Tribe Survival for a fun, exciting hands-on day where we will discover and practice the skills you would need to survive in a true emergency! Learn to make fire with and without matches, and how to tend the fire safely. Learn how to properly and safely utilize a knife, identify and harvest wild edible plants, and trap, snare, and cook on a campfire. You’ll learn how to build shelters and create fun and practical items like tools or ropes. You, your family, and your children will learn new skills and journey through the wild world of survival together.
Taking the time to admire the natural world and what we’ve been given, learning life-saving skills, training on them, and putting them to practical use, will give you a new perspective on life, and preparedness. When the time comes, being prepared can save lives.
Children learn best by doing, so this spring and summer, make your camping and hiking excursions into opportunities to learn survival techniques. Even a walk in the woods can become a teachable moment that could save lives in a survival scenario.
